Led by our Group Health and Safety Director, the two departments work in close collaboration with our project teams to ensure that JRL Health & Safety standards and safety protocols are properly implemented, and that we have suitably qualified and experienced staff who display consistent safety-first behaviours.

Our in-house Training Department comprises a Training Centre, which is a CITB Approved Training Organisation and an NPORS Accredited Training Provider ensuring our in-house training provision meets industry accreditation stand- ards and delivers training centred on the Group’s permanent focus on continuous improvement, including the implementation and enhancement of behavioural safety. 

Customised training Programmes

Our experience shows that you get full engagement from individuals, maximising safety competency and behaviours, through tailored training. In-house training products that support these customised programmes include: our suite of in-house site safety plus (ssp) programmes: the site supervisor safety training scheme (sssts), the site management safety training scheme (smsts), and temporary works courses, all tailored to the company, the jrl approach and individual projects, whilst maintaining the standards required to maintain our citb accreditation, jrl passport programme, enriched by specific elements of behaviour-based safety including managing people, developing individuals and teams, organisational culture, and behaviours.

1996

J. Reddington Ltd Founded

John Reddington establishes J Reddington Ltd, laying the foundation for what would become the JRL Group. Initially focusing on concrete frame contracting, the company begins its journey in the UK construction industry.

2003

London Tower Cranes Established

JRL Group expands its service offerings by founding London Tower Cranes Ltd. and JRL Plant & Logistics Ltd., providing crane hire and logistics services for large-scale construction projects.

2006

Launch of Midgard Ltd. and Thames Reinforcements Ltd.

The launch of Midgard Ltd. and Thames Reinforcements Ltd. strengthens JRL's capacity in construction contracting and reinforced concrete services.

2008

JRL Group Formed

JRL Group Ltd. is officially formed, consolidating its various divisions and subsidiaries into a unified brand, establishing its position as a leading integrated construction company.

2017

Acquisition of McMullen Facades

JRL Group acquires McMullen Façades Ltd., enhancing its façade capabilities and enabling the delivery of integrated structure and envelope solutions.

2022

Launch of JRL Modular

JRL Group expands into modular construction with the launch of JRL Modular Ltd. manufacturing POD bathrooms and Prefabricated Utility Cupboards further enhancing its vertically integrated delivery process

2023

Completes One Thames City

JRL Group completes the groups largest value contract to date, One Thames City at Nine Elms, comprising two towers of 52 and 42 storeys 524 high specification residential units, a wellness centre, gym and the largest indoor residential swimming pool in Europe
