Project Overview

A design and build project of four blocks beside the River Roding providing 597 homes in two buildings: a 7 storey block facing the adjacent park and a 15 storey tower overlooking the river. A central amenity hub faces the adjacent Barking Abbey ruins. This houses a residents’ lounge, gym, and workspaces. Situated 2 minutes from the A13, this development is great for London commuters.

Barking Wharf is located on the fringes of Barking Town Centre, East London. Positioned between the revitalised River Roding and Abbey Green Park, the site sits within the River Roding Regeneration Area and replaces an unattractive retail park. The walkways are lined with trees and extensive planting to maximise sustainability and support local ecology. Dedicated courtyard gardens have been created between the apartment blocks, providing outdoor spaces for the whole community to enjoy for play and social events.
